I wanted to make something for Valentine's Day and thought this little cute gonk would be perfect. Made with chunky yarn, its a fairly quick make. I also added some hearts to his legs, hat and made some dinky heart balloons for him to hold. And what valentines gonk wouldn't be complete without a valentines card? I wanted to create a simple easy to make cushion using the Aldi chunky yarn that I bought. This simple bobble stitch pattern is made of two panels - the back uses the reversed colours of the front panel. The pattern has step by step written instructions and 2 colour charts.

I made a matching Sweetheart blanket to go with the cushion. This time I used Aldi baby yarn - which is soft chunky chenille yarn with a 8mm hook. The blanket is made from 2 different bobble heart squares. This blanket is quick and easy to make and its so soft and cuddly!
