This is my Winter Wonderland blanket - it is made up of 25 squares with lots of Christmas themed appliques such as Santa, reindeers, penguins, snowmen and snow ladies, Christmas puddings, robins,  presents and snowflakes. 
I used Hobbii Friends 8/4 cotton with a 3mm hook for all parts of the blanket. The blanket uses basic stitches along with front post, back post, bean stitch and crossed stitches. The squares are joined using a continuous flat braid join and finished with a wavy edge. It is suitable for intermediate crocheters.  This pattern is written in English only and uses US crochet terms.
