Granny Squares Galore!

It's been a busy few months since my last blog. I've been making granny squares galore!

Firstly my Forget Me Not blanket. Full of different forget me not flower patterns. I love seeing my lovely testers versions in all different colours. See my Instagram post for all their gorgeous versions.

I also finished my Sweet Treats blanket. Full of sugary themed appliques. I haven't made appliqués for a while so it was nice to make something as fun as these. My favourite cake is bakewell tart, what's yours?

My last lot of granny squares was for my Cwtch Blanket. Cwtch is a Welsh word for a great big hug. I wanted to create a blanket that you could wrap around giving you a big 'Cwtch"! This is one of the biggest blankets I've made. Full of colour and different stitches. Each square is worked in the round. Its currently being tested and will be available soon.

FREE PATTERNS

I've also been working on smaller projects, these free patterns will be added to by website by the end of the month.

First up, my tshirt yarn baskets . Beware this easy to make pattern is highly addictive I've made them in 3 different sizes and at the moment I've made 5 so far!

I've also remade my asymmetrical scarf using Hobbii lollipop Yarn in neutral colours. You can never have too many scarves!

THE WIP'S

I have been still working through some of my WIPs, although I may have added more to list as well!

I finished off my 2nd Spring bunting and donated them to the local crafting 4 cancer group to use at their spring fayres.

I also finished my 2nd Forget Me Not blanket in lighter blues with a bit of added green. Now what to tackle next!

COMING SOON

I'm currently working on a new Autumnal cowl and I have new projects planned for Halloween. A new Halloween garland and wreath are in progress! 🎃🧙‍♀️. Keep an eye on my socials for project updates.
