I used DK yarn and a 4mm hook. 
Pattern uses basic stitches such as SC, HDC and DC. 
The pattern includes step by step instructions and photos. 
Blanket measures approx 94cm x 109cm although smaller/ larger blankets can be made by creating less/ more squares.
