I can't believe how quick Christmas is approaching - the past few months have flown by! After finally finishing the Winter Wonderland blanket, I used my leftover yarn to make a matching cushion.
New Winter Warmers..... This month I've been working on two new scarf/shawl patterns. Firstly is my Shine Bright scarf - made up of little mandala inspired granny squares in different colours, it's very colourful and bright. Next was my Whispering Frost shawl, made in shades of blue and off white, this easy 6 row repeat is a gentle and relaxing make. Made with soft alpaca, so its beautifully soft and is finished off with an icicle themed border.
What's Next On The Hook/ Which WIP Am I Tackling Next? ..... The WIP list is endless! I've been remaking my older patterns and updating the pattern format so they are all the same as my current ones. I'm currently half way through the Mama Goose Blanket - I have thoroughly enjoyed making this granny square blanket - I always find granny squares so calming and therapeutic - what do you think?
Next I'm off to a Christmas market in Romania in December so I've been thinking about what easy project I can crochet on the plane. So I'm going to make another Jonah blanket =another easy granny square pattern. Both patterns are free on my website.
In The Shop/ Free patterns......... As I'm in the festive mood I thought I'd share some of my Christmas makes. My popular Advent blanket is a free pattern, along with the cute reindeer mitts I designed for Your Crocheting & Knitting magazine - although the model is wearing them upside down!.🤭 In the shop you will find my adorable Reindeer Christmas Sack.
